COUNSELLING + EXECUTIVE COACHING
Whatever is asking for your attention,
bring it here.
Comma + Co is a counselling and executive coaching practice for the personal questions, professional pressures and complicated moments that need proper space and attention.
You do not need to arrive with the answer, or even a perfectly formed question. Bring what is occupying your thoughts, what keeps resurfacing or what you are trying to see more clearly. We will shape the conversation around you.
Creating the space
to respond, not react.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The comma in Comma + Co isn't about slowing down. It's about creating the space that makes a better decision possible - the room to understand what's actually happening before you act on it.
In practice, this shows up again and again. Clients arrive moving from one pressure to the next, responding on instinct rather than intention. The work creates space to look clearly at what's driving those patterns and to build a more considered way forward.
That space - and what it makes possible - is at the centre of everything we do.
WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE HERE
01
Carrying a weight
Something you've been carrying for a while. The work creates the space to decide whether to keep carrying it.
02
Relationships
A relationship that's become harder than it should be, or a pattern you keep finding yourself in.
03
Life changes
You're somewhere between who you were and who you're becoming.
04
Is this it?
You can feel that something needs to change. The work creates the space to work out what.
05
How you work
You've spent a long time adapting to how things are supposed to work. We'd rather work with how you actually do.
06
Organisations
Organisations that want to invest in the humans behind their leadership.
HOW WE MIGHT HELP
Support that meets you when life has become more demanding.
Comma + Co offers two distinct services.
Counselling provides a therapeutic space for personal experiences, relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Executive coaching provides a professionally focused space for leadership, workplace challenges and career development.
COUNSELLING
A place to look
more closely at
what's happening.
Counselling may help if you:
Live with anxiety, stress, overwhelm or persistent low mood.
Notice relationship or attachment patterns that keep resurfacing.
Carry grief, loss or experiences from the past.
Are navigating a significant life, relationship or identity transition.
Experience burnout or emotional exhaustion.
Are reconsidering boundaries, self-worth or long-held expectations.
Are moving through perimenopause or a particular complexity of midlife.
Want space to understand your responses, experiences or choices more fully.
The focus is personal and therapeutic, shaped by what you choose to bring to counselling.
EXECUTIVE COACHING
Think more clearly.
Decide deliberately.
Lead with intention.
Executive coaching may help if you are:
Stepping into a new or more senior leadership role
Leading through organisational change or uncertainty
Managing complex workplace relationships or team dynamics
Preparing for a consequential conversation or professional decision
Considering your next role, career direction or professional identity
Examining confidence, self-doubt or imposter feelings at work
Reconsidering how you communicate, influence or exercise authority
Balancing leadership responsibility with finite time and capacity
Looking for a confidential space to think beyond the immediate demands of the role.
The focus remains professional and connected to your leadership context, responsibilities and agreed coaching objectives.
MEET YOUR PRACTITIONER
Hello, I’m Kate.
Counsellor + Executive coach.
Melbourne in-person + online across Australia.
Counselling works when the relationship does. That means staying genuinely curious about what's actually happening for you, and knowing when to sit with something and when to move.
I bring warmth, directness and a presence that tends to make it easier to say the thing you haven't quite managed to say yet: to yourself, or to anyone else.
I'm a trauma-informed integrative practitioner, which means I draw on a range of approaches rather than applying a single model to every person. What we use and how we use it is shaped entirely around you: what you're carrying, how you make sense of things, and what's actually going to be useful.
01
Who this works well for
People who are ready to look honestly at what's not working and do something about it. You don't need to have it figured out before you arrive, just a sense that things could be different.
02
What you won’t find here
Reassurance where honesty would serve you better. More sessions than are actually useful. What you will get is someone who stays with you, through the difficult moments and into the clearer ones.

What clients say
about the work.
The experiences below were shared voluntarily and with permission. All identifying details have been removed to protect confidentiality. Therapeutic outcomes vary and your experience will be unique to you.
Clearer, lighter, and more like myself, for the first time in a long time.
"The work hasn't been about fixing myself or forcing change. It's been about understanding what's really going on, and that's where things have shifted. I leave sessions feeling clearer, lighter, and more like myself for the first time in a long time."
Chloe*, 32 – Melbourne
Understood, rather than analysed or worked on.
"From the start, I felt understood rather than analysed or 'worked on'. She has a way of asking questions that cut through the noise without ever feeling confronting, and she holds space in a way that feels calm, steady, and deeply respectful."
Claudia*, 30 – Melbourne and online
Language for long-standing patterns, and how I see myself has shifted.
"Working with Kate has helped me understand how my mind works, not just what I feel. She's given me language for long-standing patterns and protective behaviours, which has shifted how I see myself, with more clarity, balance, and compassion."
Lara*, 47 – In-person and online
The kind of growth that actually changes day-to-day living.
"I'm less reactive, more reflective, and clearer in how I show up in relationships and life. The growth hasn't been flashy, but it's been real and lasting, the kind that actually changes day-to-day living."
Lucy*, 48 – Melbourne and online
