COUNSELLING

A place to understand what’s happening, and decide what comes next.

You may know exactly what you want to work on, or just feel that something needs to change. Counselling offers a calm, thoughtful space to understand what is shaping your experience and find a way forward that feels right for you.

WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE TO COUNSELLING?

Most people arrive knowing something needs to change. They're not always sure what.

You don't need a diagnosis, a label or the right words. We can start with what is happening for you now. People come to us with experiences including:

01

Feeling overwhelmed

Anxiety, low mood, burnout or chronic stress that has become difficult to carry alone.

02

Relationships and belonging

Relationship difficulties, people pleasing, loneliness or patterns affecting how you connect with others and yourself.

03

Living through change

Life transitions, separation, career questions, perimenopause, midlife or uncertainty about what comes next.

04

Carrying something painful

Grief, trauma, difficult past experiences or a persistent sense that something is not right.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Calm, knowledgeable support that meets you where you are.

01

Active partnership, not passive listening.

Counselling here is more than passive listening. We listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and work alongside you to understand what is happening and what may help.

02

Understand what’s actually driving you.

We explore the patterns shaping how you feel, relate and respond, then help you translate that understanding into choices you can use beyond the counselling room.

03

An approach that evolves as you do.

The work is shaped around your needs, pace and goals. As your understanding develops or your circumstances change, the focus of counselling can change with you.
